Miolabis montanus

Taxonomy
Protolabis montanus was named by Douglass (1899). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is East of Hyde Post-office, which is in a Barstovian terrestrial shale/conglomerate in Montana.

It was recombined as Procamelus montanus by Hay (1902); it was synonymized subjectively with Protolabis fissidens by Webb (1969); it was recombined as Miolabis montanus by Frick and Taylor (1971), Kelly (1992), Honey et al. (1998), Tabrum and Nichols (2001).
