Taxonomy
Siphonorhinus globosus was named by Su et al. (2024). Its type specimen is NIGP175073, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (NIGP collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
