Mixodectes malaris
Taxonomy
Indrodon malaris was named by Cope (1884) [genotype]. Its type specimen is A.M.N.H. No. 3080, a partial skull (exceptionally badly shattered palate and mandible; left upper dentition is recognizeable), and it is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Indrodon.
It was recombined as Mixodectes malaris by Matthew (1937), Szalay (1969), Rigby (1980), Gunnell (1989).
