Taxonomy
Vectis collinsi was named by van Bakel et al. (2020). Its type specimen is MWO 1 9382, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Levashi, which is in an Aptian marine sandstone in the Kubina Formation of the Russian Federation.
