Ticinoteuthis chuchichaeschtli
Taxonomy
Ticinoteuthis chuchichaeschtli was named by Pohle and Klug (2024). Its type specimen is PIMUZ 39491, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Point 902, Monte San Giorgio, Bed 112, which is in an Illyrian marine dolomite in the Besano Formation of Switzerland. It is the type species of Ticinoteuthis.
