Ixoides miocenicus
Taxonomy
Ixoides miocenicus was named by Garassino et al. (2024). Its type specimen is ZNUPL-CC2, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 6 km south of Rudig village, which is in a Tortonian carbonate marl in Iran.
