Taxonomy
Reedops albertii was named by Sandford (2005). Its type specimen is P307138 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is PL1837 (G37, 'Seville Limestone Quarry', which is in a Pragian shallow subtidal limestone in the Yeringberg Formation of Australia.
