Taxonomy
Lyrarapax trilobus was named by Cong et al. (2016). Its type specimen is YKLP 13322 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jianshan section, Haikou town, which is in a Nangaoian marine mudstone in the Heilinpu Formation of China.
