Occitanella hexagonalis
Taxonomy
Occitanella hexagonalis was named by Feist and Klapper (2022). Its type specimen is UM-IP 904, a pygidium, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CPS-E section. Bed 49. Col du Puech de la Suque, which is in a Frasnian carbonate limestone in the Coumiac Formation of France. It is the type species of Occitanella.
