Platybole bergica
Taxonomy
Cyrtosymbole bergica was named by Richter (1913). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wuppertal-"Üllendahl", which is in a Famennian marine shale in the Dasberg Sandstone Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Platybole, Cyrtosymbole (Bonnaspidella).
It was recombined as Cyrtosymbole (Bonnaspidella) bergica by Yuan (1988); it was recombined as Platybole bergica by Basse and Lemke (2011).
