Taxonomy
Phacops (Trimerocephalus) lotzi was named by Drevermann (1901). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Langenaubach. Clymenien-Kalk. Dill-Mulde, which is in a Famennian carbonate limestone in the Thalenberg Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Trimerocephalus lotzi by Lemke (2020).
