Taxonomy
Cornuproetus (Cornuproetus) oudrissensis was named by Feist and Orth (2000). Its type specimen is UM2 -RF 160, a pygidium, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Djebel Ou Driss, section Est, niveau ODE 7-13, which is in an Eifelian shallow subtidal limestone in the El Otfal Formation of Morocco.
