Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
R. de Mattos Manica and J. C. Coimbra 2016Carapace large. Surface covered with tubercles of different size, usually not anastomosed. Ventrolateral row with five tubercles. A blade-like structure, whose sinuous edge has two or three spines -the posterior one being the highest- emerges below the ventrolateral row obscuring the posterior portion of the ventral margin. A group of four tubercles arranged as corners of a trapezoid protrudes in front and below the pair of well-developed tubercles that form the subcentral tubercle. Narrow calcareous inner lamella for the genus.
