Musankwa sanyatiensis
Taxonomy
Musankwa sanyatiensis was named by Barrett et al. (2024). Its type specimen is NHMZ 2521, a set of limb elements (Hindlimb), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Spurwing East Palaeosol, Spurwing Island, which is in a Carnian/Norian terrestrial sandstone/sandstone in the Pebbly Arkose Formation of Zimbabwe. It is the type species of Musankwa.
