Taxonomy
Derima paparme was named by Siveter et al. (2024). Its type specimen is OUMNH PAL-C.36094 and is a 3D fossil preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Herefordshire Konservat-Lagerstätte, which is in a Wenlock basinal (carbonate) carbonate/volcaniclastic in the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Derima.
