Taxonomy
Eremiproetus erfoudanus was named by Alberti (1969). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lower Hamar Laghdad Limestone, Hamar Laghdad (I,II,III,IV,V), SE Morocco, which is in a Pragian marine limestone/marl in the Hamar Laghdad Limestone Formation of Morocco.
