Taxonomy
Malnina parva was named by Olempska (2008). Its type specimen is ZPAL O.58/94 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mu-42, Muhua Section, which is in a Tournaisian deep subtidal limestone in the Muhua Formation of China.
