Xampylodon diastemacron
Taxonomy
Xampylodon diastemacron was named by dos Santos et al. (2024). Its type specimen is MN 7825-V, a set of teeth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Filo Negro Section, Klb 9, which is in a Maastrichtian marine siltstone/carbonate in the López de Bertodano Formation of Antarctica.
