Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
F. M. Rotatori et al. 2024Dryomorphan iguanodontian dinosaur differed from other iguanodontians by the following unique combination of characters: the cnemial crest of the tibia is laterally oriented, inner condyle forms a 90° angle with cranio/caudal axis of proximal end of tibia; articulation between fibula and tibia “interlocked”; having the fibula a protruding process that overhangs on the fibular condyle cranially; the distal shaft of the fibula develops a high crest and it is markedly twisted, reduced metatarsal I; claw-like pedal ungual phalanges.
