Taxonomy
Kosovoceras exoptatum was named by Turek (1975). It is not extant. Its type locality is Kosov quarry locality (Dlouhá Hora), Kopanina Fm, which is in a Ludlow deep subtidal limestone in the Kopanina Formation of Czechia.
