Mexicania grijalvaensis
Taxonomy
Mexicania grijalvaensis was named by Garassino et al. (2013). Its type specimen is IHNFG-4716 and is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is El Chango Quarry, which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal dolomite in the Cintalapa Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Mexicania.
