Ophiomys parvus

Taxonomy
Mimomys parvus was named by Wilson (1933). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jackass Butte (UO 2404), which is in a Blancan terrestrial horizon in Idaho.

It was recombined as Pliophenacomys parvus by Hibbard (1950), Hibbard (1959); it was recombined as Pliomys parvus by Kretzoi (1955); it was recombined as Ophiomys parvus by Hibbard and Zakrzewski (1967), Shotwell (1970), Kurten and Anderson (1980), Martin et al. (2002).
