Taxonomy
Kierarges morrisoni was named by Corbacho (2014). Its type specimen is BPM1093 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Z-F0, Jbel Bou Zeroual, near Zagora, which is in a Floian offshore siltstone in the Fezouata Formation of Morocco. It is the type species of Kierarges.
