Taxonomy
Burlingia obscura was named by Soloviev (1969). Its type specimen is 1/10136 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Мал. Куонамке, which is in an Amgan carbonate limestone in the Kuonamka Formation of the Russian Federation.
