Nonanomalurus soniae

Taxonomy
Paranomalurus soniae was named by Lavocat (1973). Its type specimen is KNM SO 788, a maxilla (Left maxilla containing P4/-M2/), and it is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Nonanomalurus.

It was recombined as Nonanomalurus soniae by Pickford et al. (2013).

M. Pickford et al. 2013The IInd transverse valley of the upper cheek teeth reaches the lingual and buccal margins of the crowns. Upper and lower incisors not very compressed; length of P4/-M3/, 13 mm; length p/4m/3, 14.6 mm (for original diagnosis see Lavocat, 1973, p. 187).
