Rhizodus serpukhovensis
Taxonomy
Rhizodus serpukhovensis was named by Smirnova (2022). Its type specimen is PIN no. 2878/581, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zaborie quarry, lower Glazechnya subformation, which is in a Pendleian/Arnsbergian shallow subtidal grainstone in the Steshev Formation of the Russian Federation.
