Gigoutella mauretanica
Taxonomy
Xandarella mauretanica was named by Ortega-Hernández et al. (2017). It is not extant. Its type specimen is MHNM-HA-TT-CA-1A. Its type locality is East of Ait Youb, Lemdad Syncline, which is in a Stage 4 shoreface sandstone in the Tatelt Formation of Morocco.
It was recombined as Gigoutella mauretanica by El Albani et al. (2024).
