Taxonomy
Lepidocampa glaesi was named by Sánchez-García et al. (2023). Its type specimen is AMNH DR-KLCa001, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (AMNH coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
