Youti yuanshi
Taxonomy
Youti yuanshi was named by Smith et al. (2024). Its type specimen is YKLP 12387 and is a 3D fossil preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Xiaotan (Zhaotong) section, Yu'anshan (Yuanshan) Formation, which is in a Stage 3 carbonate limestone/shale in the Yu’anshan Formation of China. It is the type species of Youti.
