Taxonomy
Diplograptus (Glyptograptus) tamariscus incertus was named by Elles and Wood (1906) [Diplograptus (Glyptograptus) tamariscus var. incertus]. Its type specimen is BU 1274 and is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Glyptograptus incertus by Packham (1962).
