Atomaria (Anchicera) telnovi was named by Lyubarsky and Perkovsky (2024). Its type specimen is SIZK UA-28149, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Rovno Amber, Ukryantar factory material (SIZK UA collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Ukraine.
