Taxonomy
Priceaspis (Priceaspis) opiki was named by Legg (1976). Its type specimen is UWA 71320, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is section RM 10, 413 m, Emanuel Creek, Canning Basin, which is in an Arenig marine horizon in the Emanuel Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Priceaspis, Priceaspis (Priceaspis).
