Prosopiscus edgarensis
Taxonomy
Prosopiscus edgarensis was named by Legg (1976). Its type specimen is UWA 71255, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Core 5, Edgar Range No. 1, Canning Basin, which is in a Darriwilian carbonate shale/limestone in the Goldwyer Formation of Australia.
