Taxonomy
Athyrella grandis proteisimilis was named by Renz (1912). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Warcha, Upper Productus limestone (Breslau University collection), which is in a Changhsingian carbonate limestone in the Chhidru Formation of Pakistan.
