Taxonomy
Hemitrypa punjabensis was named by Reed (1931). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is K 24.603, above salt mines on road from Rukhla to Amb, Jarhanwala nala, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine horizon in Pakistan.
