Taxonomy
Aeglina grandis was named by Salter and in Murchison (1859). Its type specimen is GSM 35275, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Cyclopyge grandis by Whittard (1961); it was recombined as Microparia grandis by Fortey and Owens (1978).
