Tomiopsis (Ambikella) fructiformis
Taxonomy
Ambikella fructiformis was named by Sahni and Srivastava (1956). Its type specimen is GSI 17650, a shell, and it is a cast. Its type locality is Khemgaon Chorten, Sikkim, which is in an Asselian coastal sandstone in India. It is the type species of Ambikella.
It was recombined as Tomiopsis (Ambikella) fructiformis by Waterhouse (1998).
