Taxonomy
Wangshangkia jiwozhaiensis was named by Song et al. (2024). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jiwozhai reef, Dushan Fm, which is in a Givetian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Dushan Formation of China.
