Taklamakanolepis asiaticus

Taxonomy
Taklamakanolepis asiaticus was named by Andreev et al. (2020). It is not extant. Its type specimen is IVPP V 11952.6. Its type locality is Xiaohaizi reservoir, Bachu County, Yimugantawu (Ymogantau) Fm, which is in a Telychian interdistributary bay siltstone/mudstone in the Yimugantawu Formation of China. It is the type species of Taklamakanolepis.
