Davidonia puppis
Taxonomy
Mackinnonia puppis was named by Høyberget et al. (2015). Its type specimen is PMO 227.699, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Skyberg Farm (lower bed), which is in a Toyonian carbonate limestone in the Ringstrand Formation of Norway.
It was recombined as Davidonia puppis by Ebbestad et al. (2024).
