Chlamydoselachus kamchaticus
Taxonomy
Chlamydoselachus kamchaticus was named by Malyshkina and Nazarkin (2024). Its type specimen is ZIN 599p, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Southeastern Karaginsky Island, which is in a Priabonian marine siltstone in the Peresheek Mountain Formation of the Russian Federation.
