S. Banerjee and K. Halder 2024Ovate fusiform shell; protoconch rounded, paucispiral; 4–5 flat-sided, stepped spire whorls with well-defined subsutural ramp and shoulder; suture impressed and undulated; fine spiral ribs on ramp and whorl sides in spire whorls; axial ribs
stronger than spirals, rounded and thinner in early whorls and
prominently spinose in later whorls; last whorl biangulate, first
angulation at spinose shoulder and second at its transition to
base, second one weaker; base well-excavated; axial ribs disappear in last whorl; spiral ribs continue until anterior-most end
of last whorl, a smooth, depressed band appears at base; aperture oval; a wide, short and deflected anterior siphonal canal;
siphonal fasciole weak; callus wide and thick.
