Taxonomy
Pariadens kirklandi was named by Cifelli and Eaton (1987) [genotype]. Its type locality is UCM Loc. 85358, Kaiparowits Plateau, which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial horizon in the Naturita Formation of Utah. It is the type species of Pariadens.
