Shenacanthus vermiformis
Taxonomy
Shenacanthus vermiformis was named by Zhu et al. (2022). Its type specimen is IVPP V300000, a skeleton ( part and counterpart of a near-complete fis), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chongqing lagerstatte near Lianghe village, Yongdong Township, which is in a Telychian marine horizon in the Huixingshao Formation of China. It is the type species of Shenacanthus.
