Taxonomy
Chengkouia xingjiangensis was named by Zhu and Lin (1983). It is not extant. Its type locality is Mohershan, Kuruktag, which is in a Nangaoian carbonate limestone in the Xidashan Formation of China.
It was recombined as Acanthomicmacca (Chengkouia) xingjiangensis by Geyer (2016).
