Stoppanicaris grignaensis

Taxonomy
Stoppanicaris grignaensis was named by Ji and Tintori (2024). Its type specimen is MPUM 13474, a carapace, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Scudo Tremare, bed 48, Northern Grigna Mountain, which is in a Fassanian basinal (carbonate) limestone in the Buchenstein Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Stoppanicaris.
