Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
G. M. Martin et al. 2024This is the smallest known palaeothentoid, smaller than all living Caenolestidae and slightly larger than Phonocdromus gracilis. Other than its small size, the most remarkable characteistic is the lack of an anterior crest (the preparacristid) of m1 trigonid, a medium-sized and narrow p3 which lacks an anterior cusp, a conical entoconid without an entocristid, and a very small hypoconulid.
