Odontopleura keyserlingi was named by Barrande (1846). It is the type species of Chlustinia.
It was recombined as Primaspis (Chlustinia) keyserlingi by Havlicek and Vanek (1966); it was recombined as Chlustinia keyserlingi by Mergl (2014).
