Solteria spinosa
Taxonomy
Solteria spinosa was named by Garassino et al. (2024). Its type specimen is MUSE-PAL 6828, a carapace, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Angelini quarry, Solteri, which is in a Ypresian basinal (carbonate) marl in the Chiusole Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Solteria.
