Peromyscus berendsensis

Peromyscus berendsensis was named by Starrett (1956). Its type specimen is UMMP No. 31789, a mandible (anterior portion of right ramus with incisor, M1 and the alveoli of M2-M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Berends, which is in an Irvingtonian terrestrial horizon in Oklahoma.
